IPE Digital will participate in the XLII Brazilian Symposium on Telecommunications and Signal Processing, which took place in Belém, Pará, from October 1 to 4, 2024. The Executive Director of IPE Digital, Agostinho Linhares, will moderate the plenary session on “Challenges for the Implementation of Telecommunications Infrastructure in the Amazon”.

IPE Digital participated in the México Digital Summit, in the panel that addressed “Redes privadas, automatización y casos de uso 5G”. The panel covered important topics for the future of connectivity in Latin America, such as the opportunities that private 5G networks offer to different sectors, use cases, and the challenges that still exist for the widespread adoption of 5G networks.

Wireless World Research Forum Huddle 2025
In September 2025, the WWRF Huddle 2025 took place at Anatel's headquarters in Brasília, Brazil. The event addressed the theme “6G The New Frontier”.
During the event, Agostinho Linhares participated in the panel “Spectrum Allocation and Regulatory Challenges”, alongside representatives from ANFR, DSA, GSMA, ISED, and OFCOM.
Telcomp Symposium 2025
The Institutional Director of the Institute for Digital Economy Research (IPE Digital), Leonardo Euler de Morais, was a highlight at the Telcomp Symposium 2025!
In his presentation, Leonardo addressed, in a clear and strategic manner, the challenges and opportunities related to the urgent need to expand public policies that foster the advancement of the Internet of Things (IoT) in Brazil, with emphasis on maintaining the tax rationalization established by Law No. 14,108/2020 and provided for in Bills 214/2025 and 4635/2024.
Pre-COP30 Dialogues - SPACE SUSTAINABILITY
The event, moderated by Agostinho Linhares, brought one of the main topics under discussion in the telecommunications sector worldwide to Belém, Pará. Several national and international experts discussed the impacts of large satellite constellations and potential solutions, the future of space exploration, as well as new technological solutions to enhance connectivity and the protection of the Amazon.

The Digital Nation Summit 2026 was an event promoted by GSMA, held in São Paulo, Brazil.
The event, which took place for the first time in Latin America, presented the report Brazil 2030: Connectivity, Innovation, and Sovereignty and featured discussions on Digital Inclusion and the economic impact of smartphone tax exemption.
